We, editors of The Pan African Medical Journal hereby notify readers of the retraction of the article “Analysis of the effect of health insurance on health care utilization in Rwanda: a secondary data analysis of Rwanda integrated living condition survey 2016-2017 (EICV 5)”. PAMJ - One Health. 2021;4:10. Doi: 10.11604/pamj-oh.2021.4.10.25256 by Muremyi et al. [1] published on the 12nd February 2021. The article is retracted because after a careful and considered post-publication review by the editorial committee, the paper has been found to be incomplete in its analysis and literature review used. Therefore, the editorial office, in agreement with the authors has decided to retract the article; as such, we retract this article from the literature in accordance with guidelines and best editorial practices from the Committee on Publication Ethics. We apologize to our audience about this unfortunate situation.
